These things are incredibly durable. Our two are routinely run into brick walls and each other. No pieces fall off, no cracks develop and they just keep running.
The only thing I don't like is thast there is no indicator to show when the battery is fully charged.
Other than that, these are terrific toys for kids of all ages, even the grown up ones.

Great Car, January 14, 2008
Durability: Fun: Educational:
My son has this Z car and I have the Skyline. They are well made and a lot of fun. They come with a set of street tires and a set of drift tires. If you put all of the drift tires on, you'll be doing endless donuts. We usually mount drifters at the rear and street at the front, giving a bit more control, but also able to drift at will. Highly recommended. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:
Fun for all ages, October 16, 2008
Durability: Fun: Educational:
I'm not sure why they recommend these cars for ages 8 and up. My grandkids, 5 an under, love them. It was fun teaching them how to use the remote control. Now the older one uses it entirely on his own, while the younger hasn't quite picked up the idea of steering yet. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:
Fun, March 9, 2008

This toy is very fun to play with, it is very durable and fun to drift, I recomend it highly. Although it does not drift as well as I hoped, it is much cheaper than the other 200+ dollar cars!
